Product manufacture costing - CostCalc 4.4 offers:

‘As it Happens’ method or ‘Traditional’ method costing options

The total cost of manufacturing a product, with or without using in-house Sub-assemblies and any purchased externally, plus all other materials and assembly and test operations - at three different user-defined quantity and output rates for prototype and two production quantities.

For each production quantity, the cumulative proportion of total cost of manufacture step by step, enabling the value of Work in Progress to be easily seen at each stage for prototypes and production. A toggle button is used for this.

Up to 22 different Sub-assemblies per Product and allowing 340 items and/or process steps in product assembly. The latter number is extendible to 10,000 or more.

Total direct material costs for the project, including
/excluding wastage and yield losses.

Total direct labour costs from stores kitting through to assembled and tested product out of the door, and with a choice of three user-defined labour cost rates for each operation.

The option to choose the main costing currency and an alternative one and instantly compare costs in the two different decimal currencies.
